When a C is actually a G

Someone in Green Bey nodded:
I’m not sure I would want to visit Chicaco.

I'm sure I misspell things all the time.  Is this intentional?  ... maybe.

I found and interesting update on this

They feel the same about us. Sun-Times columnist Richard Roeper wrote this week that Chicagoland is better than much smaller Green Bay by every measure, except drive-by shootings and corruption. He referred to Green Bay as a “city” in quotes like that.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette got sweet payback by spelling his city Chicaco in a huge front page headline, though inadvertently, the paper said. Who can concentrate on typing when the biggest game going back forever or longer is coming up?

Actually, my husband thought that it was a play on the word -- pardon my crudity -- caca.

Yes, I think you are right Kat. Or I thought maybe called a ... male rooster ... for the "city" stab.
