Sisters of Christian Charity Postulants Crown an Image of Mary

coronation of an image of Mary April 30, 2011.
Yesterday’s royal wedding peaked interest in royalty and an earthly kingdom. Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Postulants studied the official liturgical Order of Crowning an Image of the Blessed Virgin Mary [published in 1987 by the United States Catholic Conference] and planned a Motherhouse Community coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary for our Queen of heaven and earth. The perfect day was April 30, 2011: vigil of the month of May traditionally dedicated to the Mother of God.

FSCC are based out of Manitowoc, WI.  I don't know a whole lot about the order but I'm encouraged by what I've seen.
