WI “Choose Life” License Plates Goes to Assembly for Vote Tomorrow

Today, the State Assembly Transportation committee voted along party lines to recommend that the full Assembly vote on the “Choose Life” Wisconsin specialty license plate. An amendment to the bill requires that the state be reimbursed for the cost of producing the plate before any plates are available to the public. The Assembly is scheduled to vote on this bill tomorrow in one of its last floor periods before January. The proceeds from the sale of this plate will go to Wisconsin’s pregnancy resource centers. To date, there has been no action on this bill in the Senate.
