Free concert on front steps of Cathedral of St. Paul tonight

On Thursday, June 4, the University of Minnesota Alumni Summer Band will perform a free concert on the front steps of the Cathedral (weather permitting) at 7:00 p.m. The band plays from the plaza facing the Cathedral, and the audience sits on the steps (or in lawn chairs in the grass) with a magnificent view of the city in the background, and the granite steps acting as a wonderful acoustical agent. This was a splendid evening last year, and promises to be a repeat performance.
