Silver rose makes stop at Good Help Shine

One of six silver roses traveling across North America this year to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary came to the Champion shrine.

CHAMPION - Almost 100 pilgrims came to The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help on Monday to see one of six silver roses that are passing through North America this year.

The Knights of Columbus presents the Running of the Rose, an annual program started in 1960 by the Catholic service organization’s youth group, the Columbian Squires, to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe or the Blessed Virgin Mary.
