Burke has served as chairman of the Trinity Academy Board of Directors since December 2015.
Burke made international headlines as a prominent contributor to the Extraordinary Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, held in Vatican City in October 2014. He is an expert in canon law, liturgy and the church norms on marriage, annulments and the distribution of communion.
