Mass wraps up La Crosse Diocese's 150th anniversary celebration

The La Crosse Diocese will close the curtain on its centennial year of celebrations with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Sunday[yesterday] at the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman at 530 Main St.

Bishop William Callahan, who will president at the Mass, said, "We have learned so much from our recollection and reflections about the past. How blessed we have been these past 150 years.

“We now gather to form new memories with a renewed will to live stronger and more purposeful lives for the next 150 years — or whatever time God gives us," Callahan said.
