Mario Hiriart is declared “venerable”

Not exactly news, since it was reported by Pamela Fabiano and Maria Fischer a month ago at Schoenstatt. Venerable Mario Hiriart Pulido was "a lay person born in Santiago de Chile (Chile) on 23 July 1931 and who died in Milwaukee (United States) on 15 July 1964." Here's some additional background from Rome Reports.

He was in Milwaukee when he died on a visit to Schoenstatt founder Father Joseph Kentenich, a Pallottine priest, who had been "exiled" here by his religious order. (see Fr. Kentenich's Wikipedia entry)
