In the next couple of weeks, there will be an earthquake in Milwaukee.Beautiful!!!!
That's really the significance of an upcoming first Mass. While in the Ordinary Form (NOT the "old" Mass), it will be all in Latin except for the readings, of course.
A professional-grade chorus and schola will sing all the Propers from the Liber (Sunday after Ascension), and a chamber orchestra and soloists will join them for the Ordinary: Haydn's "St Nicholas Mass". In addition, Mozart's Ave Verum will be sung.
While you're recovering from that 7.2/Richter, here's the aftershock: this priest is NOT from somplace else; he's from Milwaukee and is incardinated here.
Heh.
This will be a lot of fun.
Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle. 2 Thes 2:15
