A governor with a good relationship with the bishops

I by no means want to create any "heat" for my bishop, but remember this?
The inauguration ceremony commenced at noon with a packed crowd of over 1,500 on hand to witness the event.  The Master of Ceremonies for the inauguration was Lisa Mauer, a Wauwatosa business owner who suggested that her presence at the event was a clear sign that Walker was putting businesses first.  The invocation was given by Bishop William Callahan, the bishop of the archdiocese of La Crosse and former Auxiliary Bishop of the Milwaukee Archdiocese.

I have a feeling Walker takes what the Wisconsin bishops have said to heart and that he's willing to let that advice affect his policy(unlike the catholyc former gov).  That is why it's all the more sad that the bishops' words continue to be contorted to fit political interests; not worker or taxpayer interests, but the special interests of a particular political party.
