  1. The Abortion/Contraception Connection: Thursday, March 3, 7pm, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 105 North Olk Street, Hortonville. Virginia Zignego, Pro-Life Wisconsin’s communications director, will speak on various issues related to contraception – the different types of contraception, when life begins, the link between the pill and breast cancer, the link between birth control and divorce, why it is not healthy to suppress natural fertility, what the Church teaches on contraception and why. Event is part 3 of 3 in the Adult Education Sessions on Intimacy, Life, and Family. Event is free and refreshments will be provided. Sponsored by the parish’s Social Concerns Committee, the Knights of Columbus & Council of Catholic Women.
  2. Medical Decision Making/Advance Directives: Tuesday, March 8, 7pm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 602 College Street, Lake Mills. Peggy Hamill, Pro-Life Wisconsin’s state director, will speak on end-of-life issues and what you need to know about Wisconsin law and how the Church’s teaching applies to the “Terry Schiavo” type of situation. Event organized by the Lake Mills Council of Catholic Women at St. Francis Xavier. Event is free and will last approximately an hour.
