A Walk for Choice AND visits by the Planned Parenthood “Pepto Bus”? Oh no!

As Jill Stanek observed, the nationwide Walks for Choice held in February were more of a limp than any quick movement. There is a Milwaukee “Walk for Choice” apparently scheduled for this upcoming Saturday, March 26, but judging by the lack of enthusiasm, it may not make it to the finish line. Find the Facebook page here or a post on the organizors’ website here. Will the Milwaukee Walk for Choice make it out of the starting gate?

The day before the Walk for Choice, the Planned Parenthood “Pepto Bus” will be pulling into town. It is scheduled to stop in Madison and Milwaukee. The Madison stop is where our “Choice Kills Those Without One” billboard is located. Interestingly, the bus will not be stopping at Planned Parenthood on Orin Rd. in Madison, where surgical abortions are performed (and, coincidentally?, the site of a perpetual pro-life prayer presence!)  The Milwaukee stop is TBD.

Why all the Planned Parenthood / pro-abortion activity? Under Gov. Walker’s budget, which cuts Title V funding, nine Planned Parenthood locations would be impacted financially, they claim. Losing funding for nine locations would put a mighty big dent in the PPWI empire.

Join us in prayer at Planned Parenthood facilities
Friday, March 25 — the day the Pepto Bus comes to town — is the day Christians worldwide celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation. Exactly nine months before Christmas, this holy day commemorates that glorious moment when “the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.”

Planned Parenthood has chosen this day to bring its bus tour to Milwaukee and Madison. Designed to ensure the abortion giant continues to rake in hundreds of millions of YOUR tax dollars every year, this desperate campaign aims to “demonstrate our community’s strong support for Planned Parenthood.”
While the Planned Parenthood propaganda machine rolls into town, we need you to join us in a peaceful, prayerful witness. Let’s come together on the sidewalks to educate our community that abortion and birth control are not health care. To tell Planned Parenthood we shouldn’t be forced to pay for the destruction they cause. To show the Lord that we trust in Him.

Join us in peaceful protest and prayer at 11:30 in Madison and 4pm in Milwaukee!
