Archdiocese settlement to 22 non-SNAP victims total $702,000

The archdiocese wants court approval to pay the victims a total of $702,000 they agreed to accept to settle their claims. The settlements were reached through private mediation between the archdiocese and the victims.

"The debtor welcomed victims/survivors into the mediation program and is concerned that failure to honor the ... settlements would result in significant economic and emotional harm to the in-settlement victims/survivors," the archdiocese said in a motion filed last month.
