HUBERTUS - Milwaukee Archbishop Jerome Listecki started this Holy Weekend at Holy Hill, symbolically retracing the steps Jesus took leading to the Crucifixion.
On this chilly Good Friday morning, parishioners toting umbrellas climbed toward the basilica to reflect on the climb Jesus made at Calvary 2,000 years ago.
Listecki led them from the first station marking Christ's death sentence to the final station in tribute to the Crucifixion.
It's nice coverage but the anchor's lead of "Christians mark the day they believe Jesus died" was a bit juvenile. It's a religious commemoration, not a historical celebration like the Forth of July. Otherwise very nice to see them out there covering the event.
