Kloppenburg concedes

A bitter Wisconsin Supreme Court election race has now, finally, ended. This morning, Kloppenburg conceded the Supreme Court race to Justice David Prosser, ending a campaign that had asked for a rare statewide ballot recount.

Kloppenburg asked for the taxpayer-financed recount - the first statewide recount in two decades - after losing by 7,316 votes in the April 5 election. Waukesha County, a key stronghold for Prosser, finished its recount last.

Don't forget about the votes of those cloistered nuns in Prairie du Sac thrown out by the Kloppenburg campaign. The Badger Catholic even received an email from the Kloppenburg campaign manager, attempting to smooth over the disenfranchisement.
