Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Postulants coronation of an image of Mary April 30, 2011. |
Yesterday’s royal wedding peaked interest in royalty and an earthly kingdom. Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Postulants studied the official liturgical Order of Crowning an Image of the Blessed Virgin Mary [published in 1987 by the United States Catholic Conference] and planned a Motherhouse Community coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary for our Queen of heaven and earth. The perfect day was April 30, 2011: vigil of the month of May traditionally dedicated to the Mother of God.Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity
FSCC are based out of Manitowoc, WI. I don't know a whole lot about the order but I'm encouraged by what I've seen.
