From Bishop Christopher Coyne of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis who frequents his Twitter account
Today's gospel is traditionally known as "Dives and Lazarus." We know one characters name, "Lazarus," but where does "Dives" come from?I know technology is evil and everything but for the record, I just learned something new about the Faith today on Twitter. #thingspeoplesayontheirwaytohell
"Dives" (pronounced "dee-ves") is Latin for the "rich man."
