The Diocese of Madison is pleased to host Ascension Press and Brian Butler, co-author of the Theology of the Body for Teens series. Brian will be presenting a full-day training for both the middle school and high school editions of the Theology of the Body for Teens Training.

I'm hoping it's less... ummm... well, you know. (I deleted the O word). I have not seen it yet, but I think they learned the lesson that West apparently did not.

Father: The Christoper West version was a bit too descriptive of the sexual act itself. Some complained that although it had good aspects, that it went into far too much details of the act itself, whereas some prudence must be used to preserve innocence and mystery.

I'm not defending the more controversial aspects of Christopher West's work with the T.O.B., but I think it's important to note that youth catechesis on the material has never been a priority of Mr. West's ministry and teaching.

This material is inentionally different than West's because of its target audience.
