FaithWatch:Fund to help less-affluent Sikhs with funeral costs

FaithWatch
The son of the president of the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek, who died with five other members in a shooting rampage Sunday, has created an online web site to help cover funeral and other costs for less affluent victims.

Amardeep Kaleka set up the site at www.wearesikhs.com. His father, Satwant Singh, was killed trying to stop the attacker, 40-year-old Wade Michael Page, who was fatally shot by a police officer.

None of the money will go to the Kaleka family, according to the son. A founding member and president of the Oak Creek temple, Satwant Singh was a prominent businessman with service stations and other properties.
