GB Press Gazette did a story on a gay guy and his parents.  Not terribly written, it does allow the Catholic position to be stated. 
In 2010, the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay began offering its own support group for parents of LGBT children, which Becker refuses to join because she said it focuses on changing, instead of accepting, gay children.  [Actually it just puts natural boundaries on impulses felt.  Not all impulses a human person receives is good to act upon.]
“There’s a great misunderstanding that there’s no place for persons with same-sex attractions in the church, and nothing could be further from the truth,” said the Rev. John Doerfler, spiritual director of the local parent support group Encourage: Catholic Faith in Action. The diocese also has a support group for gays and lesbians called Courage: Catholic Faith in Action. Both groups are affiliated with the Norwalk, Conn.-based Catholic ministry Courage International, which has more than 100 chapters.
