Presidential Inauguration scheduled for day before 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade

From Fr. Heilman:
The Invitatory Psalm for the Liturgy of the Hours this morning was Psalm 95:

"Forty years I endured that generation. I said, 'They are a people whose hearts go astray and they do not know my ways.' So I swore in my anger, 'They shall not enter into my rest.'”

Forty Years!!! Did you know that the Presidential Inauguration is scheduled for the day before the 40th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade?  Pray and Fast!

Update: I had this pointed out to me:

See that headline on the left side of the NTY that reads "Cardinals Shocked - Reactions Mixed".

I wonder if the online Archive of the NYT has that article available (there used to be a nominal fee per article).

I'd like to see which Cardinals were "Mixed".

The first article ("State Ban Ruled Out Until Last 10 Weeks -National Guidelines Set by 7-to-2 Vote") can be read at: http://www.nytimes.com/learning/general/onthisday/big/0122.html#article

The first part of a similar article to the "Cardinals..." one, titled instead "Cardinals call Ruling Shocking, 'Unspeakable'" can be read at: http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1350&dat=19730123&id=9M9OAAAAIBAJ&sjid=-wEEAAAAIBAJ&pg=6211,1403121

Found a pro-life editorial written by the Milwaukee Sentinel after the Supreme Court ruling in 1973 (Friday, Jan. 26, 1973; page 16, part 1): "Legalized Killing," along with an editorial cartoon next to the text. The editorial staff gives the Supreme Court Ruling a 'thumbs-down' and writes, "So much for the unborn....who's next?"

I paid for the archived NYT article. ++Cooke and ++Krol reacted strongly with condemation.
"Mixed reactions" came from PP and such. One Rev Spragg from United Church of Christ approved of it, citing "neutrality of the State" on religious doctrine.

Of course that's a red herring, since abortion is a Natural Law issue and not a religious issue per se.
