The Court did not usurp from the State its role to protect its citizens. The State chose to consent to the Court's decree. If Walker REALLY believes it is the duty of the State to protect its citizens then just shut the abortion clinics down by executive action and let the constitutional cards fall where they may.
When the Court chooses to endorse crimes against humanity it is the obligation of the Executive and Legislative branches to give the judicial branch a good, hard "check and balance" against the boards. Choosing not to is complicity with the crime against humanity. If the Federal branches won't do it, then the State branches must act.
