Bp. Morlino writes in the Madison Catholic Herald(written before the papal announcement): Spreading the truth about the papacy
I was very surprised, but so happy to hear of the first Latin American to be elected a pope. Welcome Pope Francis!

Archdiocese of Milwaukee
Madison does a press release and a press conference. Great idea!
Pope Francis Mass Info:
Mass for the Inauguration of the Petrine Ministry is Tuesday, March 19, the Feast of St. Joseph, at 9:30 a.m. (3:30 a.m. CST) in St. Peter's Square.
Stay connected for more information on our local archdiocesan Mass, also planned for Tuesday, March 19--not quite as early--at Milwaukee's Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
Does anyone else think it odd that the La Crosse Diocese still doesn't use social media? They don't even have a way to sign up for email notifications of announcements from the diocese. The La Crosse Tribune did interview Bp. Callahan though.
Diocese of Superior had a good play by play on Twitter.
