St. Luke Story:
The Feast of Saint Luke the Evangelist, the patron Saint of Physicians and Surgeons, celebrated on October 18, serves as a focal point for the guilds’ annual activities. The purpose of the local guild is to provide a structure where common prayer, education, and a Catholic understanding of medical practice is explored and shared. By the grace of God, the local guild will further its mission of forming and supporting physicians and all healthcare professionals to offer health care in conformity to Catholic teaching.
