Yikes...

He's one of the most down to earth bishops you will meet, a kind and wonderful man.  You will recall that Bp. Ricken is the chair of the USCCB Evangelization and Catechesis Committee, thus it's probably even appropriate for him to attend the event.

I wonder what he thought of the "Three Days of Darkness" conference. Go ahead, video is here.  I wonder how many of these same "diverse liturgy" proponents would be praising this if it were a Pontifical Mass?  Orchestrated even!  You will see some big names, Fr. Robert Barron gave the keynote, John Allen gave a talk, probably some good nuggets in there.

I'm having flashbacks of my Bp. Christensen Polka Mass post.  Some things you just can't unsee. 

On the bright side, we are probably still better off than Brazil though.
