Two teenagers who were with Acre-Kendall and the man who was with Kelly have given their accounts of how the stabbing took place on the Wisconsin side of the river, about 40 miles northeast of the Twin Cities.

Visitation for Kelly will be at 10 a.m. [last] Saturday, one hour before funeral services at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Balsam Lake, Wis.
As of Friday night, a GoFundMe page had raised more than $76,000 for Kelly's family. Organizers of the page, at gofundme.com/s7y8rg4, have set a goal of raising $100,000.
Friday afternoon, Acre-Kendall made his first appearance in court, where bail was set at $125,000. His next hearing is Wednesday.Star Tribune
“He’s a young kid, but I don’t feel for him at all,” Michael Kelly said of Acre-Kendall. “I see … five young kids at home waiting for their father.”

Fishing was one of Kelly’s favorite pursuits, along with hunting and wrestling. He would often go to work at 4 a.m. so he could get back in time to coach before dinner, Clark said.And as their GoFundMe requests, especially remember this family in your prayers, and if possible assist with the financial burden now placed on this very young family.
“For somebody who’s 34 years old and working 50 hours a week and has five kids, the amount of time he gave back to the community was unbelievable,” he said.
This campaign has been set up to help Peter Kelly's wife, Christie, and their 5 children- Kellen, Payton, Miles, Auggie and Molly with what will be hard days, weeks and years ahead for this very young family.
