Encyclical in brief

P.S. The encyclical is 40,585 words long according to my word processor. Compare that to Lumen Gentium: Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, longest of the documents of Vatican II at 33,483 words, or the Gospel of Matthew, (Douay-Rheims version, Challoner revision) at 28,871 words.

P.P.S.

"22. These problems are closely linked to a throwaway culture which affects the excluded just as it quickly reduces things to rubbish. To cite one example, most of the paper we produce is thrown away and not recycled."
So this will be the first encyclical that isn't going to be printed?
