Old plentycost still gets the headlines

Cedarburg priest placed on leave amid probe of sex assault allegation, Annysa Johnson reported in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
"The pastor at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Parish in Cedarburg has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation of an allegation that he sexually abused a minor in 1977, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee said Friday."
Cedarburg is a suburb north of Milwaukee.

What brings this to light now?

"The allegation stems from a claim filed in its nearly 5-year-old bankruptcy..."
The Archbankruptcy has this uncalculated cost of helping keep these kinds of allegations, old and new, in the media regularly over the past five years.

If not for these allegations about the pastor, it would have been more noteworthy that St. Francis Students Begin Year in New Facility, reported Thursday in the Milwaukee Catholic Herald.
