A blogly roundup

Maybe in my current state of part time blogging I just do more roundups.  It seems more blogly to do this way.

Manitowoc homeless shelter faces uncertainty
Hope House is located inside the former St. Boniface Church, which is a part of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

As a homeless shelter for families at this location since 2010, Hope House started inside the former St. Boniface Church rectory before expanding into the church last March.

Both sides agreed to a ten-year lease at the beginning of the year, but the Diocese is now having second thoughts.

“We thought we were poised to develop a long-term plan to better meet the needs of people in Manitowoc County. So when we got the termination lease agreement there was the devastation and the shock because it was not anticipated at all,” said Erin Schultz, Hope House Director and Family Advocate.
The sixth annual Red Mass for members of the legal community was celebrated Oct. 15 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. Bishop David Zubik, former bishop of Green Bay until being named bishop of Pittsburgh, Pa., in 2007, was homilst at the Mass and keynote speaker at the St. Thomas More Society's gathering following Mass.
