The funniest acknowledgment of the radio show [that then-Fr. Listecki hosted on Chicago Catholic radio] came from Dr. and Mrs. White. Dr. White was a sociologist from Chicago City College, and taught with me at Quigley Preparatory Seminary North. As I entered this huge room filled with teachers, priests and administrators, Dr. White yelled from the other side of the crowded assembly, “Hey! Father Listecki! My wife and I go to bed with you every Sunday evening!” Heads turned and jaws dropped as fellow faculty stared. I shouted, “I’m on the radio! I’m on the radio!”
“Hey! Father Listecki! My wife and I go to bed with you every Sunday evening!”
