Stat of the day

Trump's victory in Wisconsin makes him the first Republican since 1984 to carry the state. It comes after never leading in a single public poll in the state all year, and despite his own persistently negative image here. According to exit polls, 63% of the state’s voters have an unfavorable view of him. But 21% of those voters who dislike him still voted for him — a testament to their hunger to shake things up.
