At Mass this morning there were a lot of visitors, from as far away as New York and Louisiana.
That's because it was Mass at St. Pius X Church in Calvert City, Kentucky, where we joined the parishioners along with other visitors to the area for tomorrow's eclipse.
I should have a checklist for describing Masses when visiting parishes. For example, opened with a) Sign of the Cross; b) discount retail greeting; or c) news, weather, and sports. Or, Lamb of God a) by the book; b) custom middle verse; or c) marathon. Any thoughts? [This morning's Mass here a) and a).]
On Badger Catholic Twitter Matt asks, "Where do procrastinators get eclipse glasses?" I've got plenty. Viewed the sun through a pair today. Looks like a little glowing yellow disk.
