"The Rev. Charles Hanel, 62, was charged with second-degree sexual assault of a then-13-year-old girl at Queen of Apostles Church in Pewaukee.The case has been pending since Fall 2018.
"But Assistant District Attorney Mike Thurston filed a letter on Wednesday, stating his intent to drop the charges at the next hearing on June 29."

I wonder what impact this will have, if any, on the controversy over Historic St. Mary's parish in Pewaukee that Queen of Apostles leadership has been trying to demolish/sell.
