Just one correction:
Our Mass on Wednesdays and Fridays are in the New Form, in Latin;
Wednesday, at Edson, Sacred Heart Church.
Friday, St. Peter Church, Tilden.
Thank you.

St. Therese Chapel in Waunakee, right at the crossing 0f 19 and US-12 has Tridentine Mass at 9.00 very Sunday, with confession at 8.30. Served by the Society of Saint Pius X.

I am new to the Milwaukee area. My wife and I are having some difficulty finding a solid, orthodox parish where we can attend Mass. Any suggestions?

Note on Anon: Society of St. Pius X does not have valid Confessions at this present moment.

Brian, I'll post and ask our readers. I would start at St. Josaphat's basilica if I were in the area. thebasilica.org Do NOT go to the Cathedral.

Brian, check out this post for some great feedback from readers.

Taking a trip in July to La Crosse. Can someone direct me towards a reverant Mass in La Crosse on Sunday morning (non-Latin). The Mass at the Shrine will be too late in the day.
Thanks!

Kim, check out this:

We will eventually have Mass listing on the Badger Catholic but not yet. The Cathedral has a 7, 8:30 and 10:30 on Sundays.

Diocese of Superior is definitely a liturgical back-water. Please pray for us.

We will be praying for you William.

Fr. Moreno at St. Francis in Necedah is being reassigned. I worry about the Latin Mass that has been in place there for many years. Any idea what will happen to it?

Badger Catholic said...

Do you know the next priest yet?

There are no more TLM's at St. Peter's in Kenosha, WI. The only TLM's are at MT. Carmel in Kenosha.
Sunday 12:00 PM and Saturdays 8:30 am.

Badger Catholic said...

Thank you Colana.

Anon: Necedah will be in good hands.

The TLM at St Norbert's in Sauk City (Roxbury) WI is at 11:00 AM and not at 10:00 AM. I found this out the hard way! Vern

You got to Mass an hour early and got some extra time to pray? How is this 'the hard way'?

Badger Catholic said...

Vern, their website still says the normal Mass time is at 10AM. Do you know if it was only moved back on that Sunday?

Badger Catholic said...

Strange, their bulletin doesn't even list St. Norbert's on there...

Aha, another website is current.

Badger Catholic: St Norbert's sign out front has it "inscribed" as being at 11:00AM. I originally went to the church for the 10:00AM Mass, per the posted schedule above, about 5 weeks ago, and the church was basically empty. I have been going at 11:00AM every Sunday since. However, I now see they have posted a different schedule??? Will get a pic next time to confirm. Vern

Thank you Vern, I created this list by going online and taking information off their websites. I don't have a good way to go update it so I appreciate any feedback. I would always recommend calling beforehand to verify the listing is correct.

The list is quite out of date. Here is a more up to date list:

Madison Diocese TLM:
Society of Jesus Christ the Priest staffed Parishes:
- St Norbert’s Roxbury: Daily TLM at 6:30am Sunday at 11am in winter 10am summer. Solemn High Mass on Christmas and special occasions. Bishop Morlino has said several TLMs at St. Norbert’s As well.
- At Aloysius, Sauk City. Occasionally. Priests are spread thinner so no scheduled TLM.
- St. Barnabas, Mazomaine. Saturday 8am
- St Mary’s, Merrimac – 1st Thursday of each month – 7pm
- St. Augustine University Parish-Platteville, 8am Sunday
- St. Mary’s Plateville – Daily TLM at 6:30am, 8am Saturday, No Sunday TLM
- St. Mary’s, Fennimore – MWF 6:30am TLM

Non SJCP Diocese Parishs
- St. Mary-Pine Bluff – Tuesday 5:30pm, Exposition at 6pm followed by 15 decades of the Rosary
- Holy Redeemer, Madison – Sunday 7am

Non-Diocesan Parishs
St. Therese – Waunakee (Springfield Corners), SSPX Sunday 9am

Let me know if I missed any. The SJCP is such a blessing to the Madison Diocese. Keep all their Holy Priests in your prayers.

I am in that diocese. If it were a backwater it would be less polluted, It is a dead and stagnant swamp sorry to say.

Not a regular time, but Immaculate Conception in Bayview (Milwaukee) seems to have a Latin Mass every year or so for the Feast of the Assumption. I attended it once three years ago, and it would seem they are having one at noon this year on August 15.

Our son has been attending the UW-Stout in Menomonie for the past 3 yrs. He has been raised in the Latin Mass. Do you or anone know if there might be a Latin Mass near Menomonie? He is on a limited budget so he has to watch what he spends on gas. Any chance a priest from the Institute would come to the campus and offer the Latin Mass?
