Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle. 2 Thes 2:15

A Fundamentalist Commenter
I thought it was interesting that who recently said that Nazism was instigated by the pope and carried out by almost exclusively Catholic henchmen(yeah in Germany) commented on my take on his opinion piece in the Winona Daily News. I thought it was interesting that these opinion discussions are more and more happening in the blogosphere now instead of the opinion pages in traditional newspapers. Despite the shortcomings of Mr. Eisele's position which includes quoting Catholic history written by I kid you not Jack Chick, the venue for such discussions is I think much better than that of the traditional newspaper.
Just for fun
Just for fun I threw together stats for the last month. Of course I had my Z Spike so believe me I don't see numbers like this normally.

Happy anniversary Badger Catholics!
Today is the one year anniversary of The Badger Catholic blog! Today also is the Memorial of St John Capistrano(new calendar), the great Italian Franciscan priest and 70 year old leader of a crusade against the Ottoman Turks whom were quickly razing and pillaging the Kingdom of Hungary. In my opinion he is also definitely the basis of JRR Tolkien's Gandalf character, at least in a historical context(Gandalf was actually a member of a race of angels, not of the race of men).
As the battle rages on, cheers and slainte!
Kapisztrán Szent János, ora pro nobis!!

Do I post too much?
Seriously. Maybe trim the stories down a bit? I get rrrrreally trigger happy sometimes. Criticism happily accepted.
I've got some nice stories I'm working on but it turns out to actually write a good story it takes time and resources. Maybe I can find a government job that lets me blog all day? Is Acorn hiring?

So I have
an infected cut on my leg from playing softball and then proceeded to download a virus on my computer last night.... Is God trying to tell me something??
Commenters
Reminder to commenters that you can call ideas stupid or other individual comments stupid but you cannot call other commenters stupid. And really, you are far more effective if you can articulate what you really mean to say. I'd rather not have to moderate comments here. I do delete spammers and personal insulters. Insult ideas and philosophies all you want.
Someone took note of my story
A few weeks ago I posted My Jesuit Story.
The blog Good Jesuit, Bad Jesuit picked it up. Thanks to the commenter for their kind words.

Uppy
Every time my two year old sees the top of my blog, he yells "Uppy!" (Puppy) and proceeds to bark like a dog.
A new look
Well I thought that would go well except is screwed up all my modules over on the right of the screen. I used a program called Artisteer which isn't perfect but I would still highly recommend. Blogger is only one of the many applications it can be used to design templates for. A little too green which I couldn't seem to straighten out, especially with a wife with the flu at home.
I'm not quite sure if I like it yet.
