In Communion with Pope Benedict, Bishop Morlino to observe “Vigil for All Nascent Human Life,” November 27th
On Saturday, November 27th at St. Peter’s Basilica, Pope Benedict XVI will celebrate a “Vigil for All Nascent Human Life” coinciding with first vespers of the First Sunday of Advent. The Holy Father has also requested that “all Diocesan Bishops (and their equivalent) of every particular church preside in analogous celebrations involving the faithful in their respective parishes, religious communities, associations and movements.”With joyful hope, Bishop Robert Morlino invites the faithful of the Diocese of Madison to observe this Vigil with him, in communion with the Holy Father, at St. Patrick’s Church of the Cathedral Parish on November 27, at 7:00 p.m., so we may together join our fasting and prayers with those around the world, "as a cry of all Humanity, rising up to God the Father, Giver of all good things, in order that every human life be respected, protected and loved."
Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle. 2 Thes 2:15
