Traditional Catholic Christmas Cards

I see that Matthew Alderman has some new Christmas cards for sale(pictured right). They are fantastic!
Just to let our readers know that I have been keeping busy during my occasional absences from the Shrine, I thought you might enjoy Matthew Alderman Studios' two official 2010 Christmas cards (here and here), complete with pre-printed greeting and quotation from the first chapter of the Gospel of John (Douay-Rheims translation): "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, the glory as it were of the Father, full of grace and truth." You can see and purchase the designs here.
Holy Whapping

Alderman is also the man working on the new St. Paul's Catholic Student Center at U of Wisc.

Also the author of The Lion and the Cardinal blog, Daniel Mitsui has some handsome cards for sale as well(pictured left).
Illuminated Gloria in Excelsis Deo text with historiated initial of the Annunciation to the Shepherds. The original drawing was done with colored inks and gold leaf on Bristol board.

5"x7".
Inside blank. Envelopes included.
$1.50 per card, plus shipping.
I think they have to be purchased by email, I have not found an online store for him.

I'm quite happy to support both these fantastic artists.  And it's nice to have a Christmas card created someplace other than China and sold someplace other than Walmart.  Matthew is based out of Milwaukee and Daniel is based out of Chicago.
