Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle. 2 Thes 2:15
Closings
The Guadalupe Shrine will be closed tomorrow due to weather, including the 9:30 Traditional Mass. Many couldn't make it to the Feast Day Mass as well. I'll post some pictures later tonight cause I'm not going anywhere in this mess. It is possible nazarethpriest and I will never meet... I got to meet some of his associates though, very nice and knowledgeable people. I guess this liturgical snob will have to slum it tomorrow ..... j/k ... sort of.

Ahem.
When I was a boy, we went to Mass. Period. Snow was a bother, now and then...
(Easy for me to say. Here we have about 1" of snow, with about 3" more coming today.)
Nazareth Priest and my husband went through the IPT (then IRPS) program together in Minneapolis back in the late nineties (before he was a priest). He's a great guy!
We're going to the Spanish Mass @ St. James today because the snow plows didn't come in time for us to make our usual one.
It took me two hours to shovel out the driveway and we were late for 10:30 Mass at the Cathedral. I imagine the 5:10 pm tonight will be well attended.
Dad29, the quarter mile walk on the trail up to the church makes the whole thing a bit more complicated. I went yesterday by myself and it was not an easy walk going down the hill.
It was. That's where we ended up b/c the Spanish Mass was canceled.
