Would you allow the doctor to kill the baby, Professor Feingold?

From Patrick McIlheran
Also, speaking of soft landings: John McAdams doesn’t complain too loudly about Russ Feingold becoming the latest falling star taken in by Marquette University’s law school. He’s haughty and now repudiated, McAdams writes, but at least he wasn’t corrupt.

Still, Badger Catholic notes the particular problem for Marquette in hiring the senator who was OK with infanticide.
Maybe we should define corrupt. Let's review exactly what Feingold said on the Senate floor on September 26, 1996:
Sen. Santorum: That doesn’t answer the question. Let’s assume that this procedure[partial birth abortion] is being performed for the reason that you’ve stated, and the head is accidentally delivered. Would you allow the doctor to kill the baby?

Sen. Feingold: I am not the person to be answering that question. That is a question that should be answered by a doctor, and by the woman who receives advice from the doctor.   And neither I, nor is the Senator from Pennsylvania, truly competent to answer those questions.  That is why we should not be making those decisions here on the floor of the Senate.
Which makes me wonder if there is any legal position that a professor of law at Marquette could hold that would disqualify them.  Apparently the ethics and law schools are on separate planets at MU.  Are law students required to take Common Sense 101 before taking Professor Feingold's courses?

And if you didn't know, Marquette Law School has their own blog.  As they welcomed Feingold publicly, some of the commenters were less than thrilled with the decision.  You may want to chime in.

Also check out Pro-Life Wisconsin on the issue.

Obviously Marquette University's Law School doesn't take ethics very seriously. Their lack of ethics and immorality shows in the scumbags that they hire, such as Feingold.
