Gov. Walker and the bishops

Most Reverend Listecki (archbishop of Milwaukee);
Scott Walker (governor of Wisconsin);
Most Reverend Ricken (bishop of Green Bay);
and Most Reverend Morlino (bishop of Madison) at the 2011 Catholics at the Capitol event.

I think they have a good relationship.  Gov Walker listens to the advice of the bishops..... probably better than most actual Catholics in the pews.

IIRC, Walker's a Lut'ran--and his father was a pastor, which means that Walker 'gets' the concept of hierarchy.

And, by the way, Walker truly is the kind of guy with whom you'd trust your wife and chilluns completely.

Actually Dad29, Walker is a Baptist, as was his father, I have heard his mom was Catholic, also I have heard his wife is a former Catholic. But I can't confirm any of that.

Yes he prbly is more respectful to the Bishops than Doyle was.
