Pro-Life Pilgrimage from Appleton to two national shrines in Chicago

Father Bill Hoffman is leading a pilgrimage from St. Therese Parish in Appleton to the national shrines of two pro-life saints, St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. Therese of Lisieux in suburban Chicago, departing Monday May 16 at 7:30 a.m., returning the next day by 9:00 p.m. Everything except the last dinner is included for $159. Sign up by April 15. Kolbe gave his life to save a father of young children in Auschwitz. Therese suffered for 18 months as she slowly and painfully died, leaving the time of her death in God's hands, saying she would accept whatever God asked of her, to suffer or to die. Holy Mass is included both days plus tours of the Kolbe Holocaust Museum and the largest collection of artifacts and personal effects of St. Therese outside of Lisieux, France where the Eucharistic vessels from Lisieux are on loan for the first time since Therese's death. The flyer and registration form are available from the parish web site www.communityofsttherese.org, at the Special Events page.
