A good opt-out to Obamacare abortion funding failed to make it out of committee in Wisconsin

This funding prohibition does not apply in the following circumstances: 1) the abortion is directly and medically necessary to save the life of the woman and a physician so certifies; 2) the abortion is performed in the case of sexual assault or incest, a physician so certifies, and the sexual assault or incest is reported to law enforcement; and 3) due to a preexisting medical condition, the abortion is directly and medically necessary to prevent grave, long-lasting physical health damage to the woman and a physician so certifies.
2011 SENATE BILL 92

1) Direct abortion is never medically necessary to save a woman's life.
2) This is not the legality of killing unborn children due to the condition of their conception, but it is who has to pay for it.  WE have to pay for it. This legislation will guarantee we have to pay for abortion.
3) That can mean just about anything.  Thanks Obama supporters for writing this legislation which guarantees that any pregnancy can successfully apply an exception clause and get me to pay for your abortion.  I think this is what you call Alinskying a bill.

Thanks for nothing guys.  In fact this codifies that we must now pay for abortion.  We need a third party and soon.

Did you know that abortions are performed up until 9 months in Wisconsin, partial birth abortions?  Now we have made sure we will pay for the procedure as well.

How very sad. Once again the Wisconsin GOP has utterly failed us. They have complete control and can ram a controversial budget bill through but when it comes to respecting the lives of the most vulnerable among us they are complete failures. Just goes to show that they are "pro-life" when they are begging for our votes and not one moment longer.

All of you that support Wisconsin Right to Life... please read. This is what your donations support. Taxpayer-funded abortion in Wisconsin of babies who are already targeted by PPWI & NARAL.

Well, if we don't like it, there's a public hearing this Thursday (May 19) in the Committee on Public Health, Human Services, and Revenue. Letters to legislators also help...
