I was told by my wife and a contributor to this blog last night that they didn't get it either.
Superman misunderstands the man an exclaims "I did not shave your wife" because he has bullets in his ears. They had a jolly laugh over the miscommunication. Is my sense of humor really that bad? Possibly.
My wife also doesn't allow Monty Python in the house which has greatly deprived me.

It would seem Larry, that despite our sports allegiances you and I have similar tastes in humor.
Yeah, I got the part about not hearing him because the bullet in his ear, but I just don't think it's that funny.
I think one must acquire the taste for dry humor to appreciate it. Kind of like acquiring the taste for a dry martini?
