Madison Catholics and others are planning to rally Friday (March 23) at the federal courthouse in Madison as part of a nationwide “Stand Up for Religious Freedom” effort.
The national effort is in response to a policy by President Barack Obama’s administration that requires nearly all private health insurance plans to include coverage for all FDA-approved prescription contraceptive drugs and devices.

The Madison rally is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. at 120 N. Henry Street. Madison Bishop Robert Morlino is among the religious leaders scheduled to attend.
