Bishop Morlino update after hospitalization

Note from Vicar General to Priests, Re: Bishop's accident:

You may have heard through various media that Bishop Morlino slipped and fell last night. First and most importantly, Bishop Morlino is doing fine. While walking to dinner last evening, he did trip and hurt himself. Because of medication he is on, they took him to get looked at for observation. Pray for him, but he is doing well. He's more frustrated with the situation than anything else.

The “news” that this happened, was released by bloggers from the USCCB meeting in Baltimore earlier this morning. Because you know him well, and might appreciate it on a lighter note, we thought, only too late, to have Cardinal Dolan say: “We’ve just learned of some dreadful and sad news: Bishop Morlino missed dinner last night! In all seriousness, he did fall and went to the hospital for observation. Please keep him in your prayers!”

Thank you for your attention to this email. Please do keep the bishop in your prayers today and everyday. The entire diocese will be better for it.
