Over 100,000 pilgrims expected at Des Plaines, IL Guadalupe Shrine

11. 10:30 pm. Driving home tonight from the monthly Evening of
Recollection for men at Northridge Prep, I saw the crowds of pilgrims
walking along Milwaukee Avenue and Dempster Avenue on their way to the
outdoor shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines, IL. Over the
next 24 hours, over a hundred thousand pilgrims will converge on that
spot for prayer, song, worship, praise, Mass, reunion. Oh aren't we
fortunate to be Catholics??
