It is indeed wonderful that Madison has experienced this boom in vocations. I might point out however that La Crosse has been experiencing this for quite some time now. In the last 20 years La Crosse has ordained 55 priests to Madison's 38 with a Catholic population that is 57% that of Madison's. Again, congratulations to Bishop Morlino and the Diocese of Madison. But don't think that they are an island.
Thanks Father, that is good news! I meant my quotation there as a "I can't believe a news anchor just commented so gracefully and positively about the Catholic priesthood"!
