Cardinal Burke answers question: Should we go to the "Novus Ordo"

I sent a BC spy(you thought the NSA was bad) to the KC talk:
750+ people on Friday night for Cardinal Burke. Standing room only in a large gymnasium. Good talk. He took some questions that had been submitted on paper. First question was about whether we should go to "Novus Ordo" or Extraordinary Form for Mass.

- He said the important thing was to go to Mass, not if it was the Ordinary Form or Extraordinary Form.
- He said both are the unbloodied sacrifice of Christ on the cross and both are valid.
- He said if we felt like we got more out of one than the other, by all means go to one or the other.

He handled it very well. People applauded loudly, much to the dismay of numerous SSPX people in the audience.

This is the kind of news about Burke people need to read - he is so not a reactionary or far-right-wing-nut.

The other thing forgotten in his current situation: he is an ardent champion of the family farm.

...What if we didn't have access to the old Mass and the disco mass or other such novelties were killing our spirit.
What if priests, nuns and lay people just walked around with the ciborium as though it meant nothing, what impression would that leave. What do we then dooo?

In Kansas City there are reverent Novus Ordo Masses in several parishes were the priests celebrate ad orientum and Holy Communion received kneeling and on the tongue. These parishes produce vocations. The Cardinal celebrated a very reverent N.O. Mass the next day for medical professionals, and the day before he celebrated the Extraordinary Form in Kansas City, Kansas, before hundreds of believers. He shows us a way out of the liturgical crisis.

If I may share, the essence of what Cardinal Burke should be our focus - it is not what other people do ro not do - as regards to licit/ and ilicit actions - just focus on the REal Presence of Christ - the act/rite of Transubstantiation is still valid (Licit?) Focus on Christ - focus on He who will redeem one's soul. Will the actions/ignorance of other people make Christ's Real Presence disappear? isnt being a vanguard or a policewatch for what is licit and illicit - where we lose focus on the essential- disrepsectful to Christ as He undergoes a bloodless sacrifice in each mass ....but oncce the prophecy of Daniel about the abolition of the Daily SAcrifice comes to fruition, then we have to seek priests who will still offer the correct form of the Holy Mass/ SAcrament of the Holy Eucharist - whether it is Old rite or new rite
