Ordination of bishops-elect Haines and Schuerman set for March 17th, Feast of St. Patrick of Ireland, in Milwaukee

Liturgical celebrations will mark the ordination of Most Reverend Jeffrey R. Haines and Most Reverend James T. Schuerman as Auxiliary Bishops for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

On Thursday, March 16, 2017 a vespers service will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Monica Parish, 160 E. Silver Spring Drive, Whitefish Bay. The faithful of the archdiocese are invited to this evening of solemn prayer.

On Friday, March 17, 2017 Bishops-elect Haines and Schuerman will be ordained by Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki in a 2 p.m. Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 N. Jackson St., Milwaukee, with a reception to follow. This is a ticketed event and not open to the general public; each parish in the archdiocese has been invited to send a representative to the ordination.
