Fatima talk and Candlelight Procession in Chicago on May 13th

Discover and live the life of Fatima! This May 13th celebrate 100 years of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima with with a special presentation and a candlelight procession on the streets of our city.

For our first event, Fr. James Presta, Professor of Mariology in the Archdiocese of Chicago will speak about the May 13th apparition and its importance for our lives—“Heaven’s Plan for your Happiness.”

After the 7:00 pm presentation at St. John Cantius Church we will have a candlelight procession along Milwaukee Avenue to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church passing by Holy Trinity Church (total 1.0 mile).

As we pray for peace in our city, members of the local law enforcement community will escort a statue of Our Lady of Fatima along city streets in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood.

The May 13th event is the first of a six-part series of presentations from May to October 2017 in Chicago commemorating the apparitions. The events are sponsored by the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA and Relevant Radio. Pope Francis has granted to the faithful a special Plenary Indulgence for taking part in the Centennial Celebrations.
